If you look closely in person you can make out the weave pattern of this carbon through the paint. This and other innovative steps helped bring the cars weight down an impressive 551lbs from the standard SL65. The body has also been widened by the AMG team as part of their efforts to make this rocket take corners. This gives the Black Series some truly eye catching looks. Beyond the good looks is the eye watering 670hp and 738lb-ft of torque that produces a blistering 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds with a limited top speed of nearly 200mph. The SL65 Black Series is something that needs to be experienced in person as words can never fully describe this car.
